-Description:

Picardías white is a sweet and smooth wine with a very affordable price. Made from 100% Verdejo grapes grown in vineyards located in the southern part of the province of León.

-Viticulture:

Wine made with the Verdejo variety, from vineyards over 20 years old. Conduction of the vineyard in trellis.

-Soil:

Deep, acidic, very poor soils, sandy loam texture, with a large amount of gravel and boulders.

-Winemaking:

Harvest: Machine harvested in 500 kg crates.

Cold pre-maceration for 8 hours in a pneumatic press at 8ºC.

Bled and decanted in stainless steel for 24 hours at 8ºC.

Alcoholic fermentation at 14ºC

Malolactic fermentation, no

Bentonite clarification method

Stabilization method by cold storage for 15 days at -5ºC.

Amicrobic filtration through 0.45 microns

-Tasting notes:

To the eye it presents a nice pale yellow dress with greenish tones. Clean and bright.

On the nose aromas of ripe white fruits, fresh herbs, and tropical background.

In the mouth it is sweet, fresh, ample, round, balanced and persistent.
