MITTEL ROSÉ PRIETO PICUDO, SPARKLING WINE

-Description:

Sparkling Rosé Wine made from 100% of the Prieto Picudo variety existing in our vineyards located in the south of the province of León.

-Viticulture:

Wine made from grapes of the Prieto Picudo variety existing in the southern area of León.

-Soil:

Deep soils, acidic, very poor, loamy-clayey texture, with a large amount of gravels and boulders.

-Winemaking:

Harvest: Manual in 25 kg boxes.

Cold pre-maceration for 8 hours in a pneumatic press at 8ºC.

Bled and racked in stainless steel tanks at 14ºC to obtain the base wine.

Second fermentation in bottle, using the champegnoise method, for 9 months in rhyme.

Manual racking and disgorging

Addition of expedition liqueur to give the final touch to our sparkling wine.

-Tasting notes:

To the eye it presents a beautiful pale red dress with greenish hues. Clean and bright. Fine and vertical bubbles in the shape of a rosary. On the surface the bubbles form islands and an abundant crown. The aroma is intense, clean, frank, with aromas of bakery and pastries, and notes of fresh red fruits.

The taste is explosive, fresh, very ample and very persistent.
