THE APPRENTICE ROSÉ PRIETO PICUDO

-Description:

El Aprendiz rosé is one of the few elaborations in the world where we can find the prieto picudo variety 100% elaborated with the ancestral and unique MADREO technique. We produce a maximum of 20,000 bottles.

-Viticulture:

Wine made 100% from the prieto picudo variety selected from our existing organic vineyards in the southern area of the province of León.

-Soil:

Deep soils, acidic, very poor, sandy loam texture, with a large amount of gravel and boulders.

-Winemaking:

Harvest: Manual in 25 kg boxes.

Cold pre-maceration for 8 hours in a pneumatic press at 8ºC.

Destemming in stainless steel for 24 h. at 8ºC.

Alcoholic fermentation with maceration for 25-30 days at 14ºC.

Malolactic fermentation, no

Bentonite clarification method

Stabilization method by cold storage for 15 days at - 5ºC.

Amicrobic filtration through 0.45 microns

-Tasting notes:

In view presents a raspberry pink dress, clean and bright.

On the nose are present fresh and wild red fruits and red flowers funds

The palate is dry, fresh, glyceric, very ample and balanced.

Pleasant aftertaste, slightly bitter and elegant finish.
