The Pedro del Páramo oaky red is a wine with 6 months ageing in oak with excellent quality at a very affordable price.
Wine made with Prieto Picudo grape from our existing vineyards in the southern area of León.
Deep, acidic, very poor soils, with a clay loam texture; with a large amount of gravel and pebbles.
Harvest: Machine harvested in 500 kg crates.
Cold pre-maceration for 72 hours in stainless steel tanks at 8ºC.
Alcoholic fermentation for 10-12 days at 28ºC.
Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Minimun 6 months ageing in oak, french and american.
Clarification method with vegetable gelatin and bentonite.
Stabilization method: Non
Amicrobic filtration by 1 micron.
To the eye it presents a nice intense garnet red dress with purple hues, clean and bright.
On the nose, fresh red fruits are present with floral background and oaky notes
In the mouth it is dry, fresh, fleshy, balanced and persistent.
